Este es nuestro primer pantalón verdaderamente holgado. Comenzamos con un pantalón de trabajo de lona vintage de gran tamaño que he estado usando durante algunos años. Eran aproximadamente dos tallas más grandes y llevaba un cinturón para ceñirlos a la cintura. Reelaboramos el estilo para mantener las proporciones y el ajuste holgado y ajustar la cintura al tamaño real. Combinamos la silueta con el mismo lienzo pesado que usamos para los bolsos tote Salmiana y Mai. Se tiñe maravillosamente y tiene una sensación suave al tacto y, al mismo tiempo, es básicamente a prueba de balas. Este estilo está confeccionado con una tela de lona que durará años. Consejo de estilo: usa estos tipos en tu verdadera cintura y enrolla la parte inferior para que quede gruesa.

El Arroqueño es parte de nuestra Colección Paper Canvas elaborado con Canvas de Algodón Mexicano Crudo, una tela 100% Algodón que llega a nuestro taller teñida y lavada. Después de coser la prenda, la lavamos vintage para obtener una sensación suave y arrugada. La llamamos “Colección Paper Canvas” porque la prenda, después del lavado, tiene un aspecto claramente de papel arrugado. De alguna manera lleva las arrugas a un nuevo nivel, seguro que todavía puedes planchar o vaporizar nuestras prendas, pero las arrugas *son* para siempre. Confía en nosotros, te encantará.

We want our clothes to fit you as best as they can. And international shipping from/to Mexico is expensive. So we’ve spent the extra time to document the measurements of each style and size. The easiest way to see if our garments will fit you is to grab your favorite piece and measure it against our size chart. Grab your favorite garment, lay it flat on a table, keep your fabric as flat and straight as possible, write down your measurements, compare them with our size chart below.

This is how we measure :

Length: from where the shoulder meets the neck, straight down to the bottom of the hem, measured on the front of the garment
Shoulder: the width from shoulder to shoulder point, directly across
Chest: the width of the chest 1 inch (2.5cm) under the arm holes, straight across. Double this measurement.
Sleeve: the length along the top of the sleeve from the shoulder seam to the bottom of the wrist cuff
Neck: the width of the neck opening, from where the collar meets the shoulder, straight across
Waist: the width of the waistband from left edge to right edge.
Front Rise: the length from the bottom of the drop crotch (not the seam) to the top edge of the front of the waistband
Thigh: measure 1 inch (2.5cm) below the crotch seam to the edge of the thigh, parallel to the waistband, double this measurement to get the circumference of the thigh
Inseam: following the inside leg seam, from the crotch seam to the bottom of the hem.
Leg Opening: from left edge to right edge, double this measurement to get the circumference of the leg opening.

Our eponymous collection is designed in our Sayulita shop and made in our own atelier here in coastal Nayarit, just a few miles from the shop by our own staff of trained tailors. We control the design and production from initial inspiration to delivery to the shop. All of the items we produce are in limited quantities.

We grew up traveling the Caribbean and Mexico with our family. Every place we stopped, we would find the coolest dive shop or merch shop for a tee or a hat. We carry a selection of Manyana graphic logo tees, totes, hats, etc.. that represent our shop, Sayulita and Mexico. The perfect souvenir.

All the clothing we produce is in limited quantities. But we offer several items that are what we call micro limited editions. Some are collaborations and others are test runs for future productions, often offered in editions of fewer than 10. If you like something in this collection, grab it quick before it's gone.

Limited Edition

This series of graphic tees, hats and totes is made from photos of Mexican signage that we've been collecting for the past 20 years of roaming around Mexico in search of waves. This is our first non-Manyana Logo series of graphic items. We hope you like it.
